Hi, I’m Lena Stewart, a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate (RCT-C23-077) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT). Reaching out for help is not easy, and I am glad you are here.
What matters most to me is creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to share, discover and explore their thoughts and emotions. I take an integrated approach, drawing from various evidence-based modalities and customizing the experience to match your unique needs and preferences.
With care and respect, I focus on building on your existing strengths with a values-driven approach across therapeutic modalities – focusing on what matters most to you. This means you are always in the driver’s seat, with me supporting and advocating for you as a passenger on the journey.
Before my career in counselling, I forged my own unconventional career journey from corporate roles into self-employment as a career practitioner. This experience helped to cultivate my deep understanding and passion for the intersection between our mental health and our career and personal lives.
Additionally, I am a military spouse with strong roots in the military community, both personally and professionally, by supporting many military transitions as a career practitioner.
Whether you’re overwhelmed, anxious, navigating a life or career transition, or feeling lost or helpless, I’m here to support you. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
